Fuzzy rules in asymptomatic HIV virus infected individuals model

چکیده
The purpose of this paper is to study of the evolution of positive HIV population for manifestation of AIDS (Acquired Immunideficiency Syndrome). Our main interest is to model the transference rate in this stage. For this purpose, we use expert information on transference rate because it strongly depends of the viral load and of the level 4 CD +of the infected individuals. More specifically, the transference rate is modeled as a fuzzy set that depends of the knowledge on viral load and 4 CD + , respectively. The main difference between this model and the classic one relies on the biological meaning of the transference rate λ. Medical science uses linguistic notions to characterize disease stages and to specify anti-retroviral therapy. Fuzzy set theory provides the formal framework to model linguistic descriptions such as the transference rate λ using expert knowledge.

Cytomegalovirus Active Infection in Persons Infected with Human Immunodeficiency Virus
Background and Objective: Cytomegalovirus (CMV), one of the most common opportunistic pathogens in patients infected with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), can cause the diseases such as encephalitis, pneumonia, and chorioretinitis. This study aimed at molecular studying of CMV infection in individuals infected with the human immunodeficiency virus. Material and Methods: In this study, 50 ven...
متن کاملHepatitis E Virus Seroprevalence and Viremia in Hemodialysis and HIV Infected Patients in Iran
Background and Aims: Hepatitis E virus (HEV) infection is usually a self-limited viral disease that causes acute hepatitis and may progress to chronic hepatitis in immunosuppressed individuals. It seems that hemodialysis patients and HIV infected people are more exposed to HEV infection. The aim of this study was to evaluate the extent of HEV infection in hemodialysis and HIV infected patients ...
متن کاملAssessment of HTLV-I proviral load, HIV viral load and CD4 T cell count in infected subjects; with an emphasis on viral replication in co-infection
Objective(s): HTLV-I and HIV virus quantification is an important marker for assessment of virus activities. Since there is a direct relationship between the number of virus and disease progression, HTLV- I and HIV co-infection might have an influence on the development of viral associated diseases, thus, viral replication of these viruses and co-infection were evaluated. Materials and...

Aims In chronic and incurable illnesses, the quality of life and its related factors are of significant importance. We aimed to investigate the predictors of Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) in Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)-positive individuals. متن کاملThe Prevalence and Risk Factors of Hepatitis Delta Virus in HIV/HBV Co-Infected Patients in Shiraz, Iran, 2012
Evidence has shown that liver disease caused by hepatitis viruses can be more aggressive and severe in HIV infected subjects. Therefore, the present cross-sectional study aimed to evaluate the seroprevalence of HDV infection among HIV/HBV co-infected clients in Shiraz, southwest Iran. In this study, 178 patients co-infected with HBV and HIV individuals were enrolled. The diagnosis of HIV infect...
